Raw dog food recipes are the very best way for your dog to eat a natural diet. Dogs are born hunters. However they have obviously had their hunting needs taken away from them as they became domesticated, with owners placing bowls of food out everyday - there is no need for a dog to hunt for raw meat anymore.

Unfortunately many owners do not realize what a dog’s natural diet should be. That is here raw dog food recipes come into importance.

Dogs need raw food to maintain their natural health. Out in the wild, dogs kill other animals and eat their raw meat. There is no cooking or factory manufacturing as is seen in dog food today. And there is certainly no left over dinners - something many owners are guilty of indulging their dogs in!

This advice applies to cats as well. Cats are predators in the same way that dogs are and therefore are made for a raw food diet.

A simple raw dog food recipe would consist of raw meet, vegetable puree, some cooked whole grains, kelp powder, ascorbic acid and around 1 teaspoon of oil (don't go overboard on the oil).

This recipe will provide your dog with a huge amount of health benefits such as increased energy, a healthy digestive and immune system, cleaner teeth and gums, healthier skin and coat and smoother stool motions.

On top of all this, your dog will be delighted to be receiving food that is in tune with his natural diet. Dogs were MADE to eat raw food. Giving your dog cooked and manufactured food all the time is doing him a great disservice to his health and happiness.

Do your dog a favor and start putting together some raw dog food recipes for him to enjoy! He will thank you for it and will live a longer healthier life with you!

As paintball improved and became popular, many individuals tried their abilities at it; giving rise to the assortment and diversity of paintball tournaments and games.

Recreational or Capture the Flag
Played by two teams, where each team has a flag and the objective of both teams is to capture or seize the opponent’s flag and carry it to your team’s starting point. This is one way for your team to win and another way is by eliminating the opposing team entirely.

Each team has to defend their base and simultaneously dispatch team players to eliminate the opponent and capture their flag.

These games are usually played in the forest; bunkers and structures can be put up throughout the area.

Scenario Paintball
This is a paintball game with a theme set up behind it: there are an endless number of themes that can be created making the game feel and look very realistic.  There are a number of players; in many cases as many as a hundred are involved in each team.

Each team gets the theme (storyline) a day before the start of the game. There are usually two teams participating, having the “general” as a team’s leader.

Each player is given a role and they should work together as a team in order to carry out and win an assigned mission. Props in accordance with the theme are introduced and distributed throughout the field. There are questions asked in connection with the theme and points are awarded for correct answers.

These points are totaled at the conclusion of the game and the team having the most number of points wins.

Backyard
This can be played right at your own backyard, a friend’s empty property or at times any property but you must as you get permission first.  You gather your friends to form a group and then conceptualize your own game which typically is “capture the flag”.

Speedball
Also called “Center Flag”, the speedball field is designed with many huge bunkers; usually “inflatables” filled with air that are shaped similar to big snakes, soda cans, water tanks etc.

Here, a team can be composed of between three to ten players in a game. There is only one flag that is involved and it is located at the center of a field.  The two teams start at each end of the field and attempt to gain possession of the flag at the center and carry it to their bunker. The team that does this successfully wins.

Paintball can surely challenge the “soldier” in you.  Give it a shot!

The history of glow sticks is over 40 years old when Edwin Chandross, a chemist at Bell Labs, invented the glow technology which used chemical energy to emit light. This was quite an achievement as at that point either battery or electrical power was used as an energy source for emission of light.

Based on Chandross’ work, many scientists took on the task for further refining the process. However, the patent for Chemical Light Device is registered in the US Patent in the name of inventor Richard Taylor Van Zandt.

Glow sticks can be used just once and come in different sizes in translucent plastic tubes. The chemicals contained within are glow stick are isolated in a brittle inner case, which when broken allows the chemicals to combine and produce light through a chemical reaction known as chemoluminescence.

Today, glow sticks are used the world over as a source of light and millions of people all over the world use these colorful sticks. It is believed that nearly 15 million glow sticks are used by the United States Department of Defense each year.

There are many uses of glow sticks and some of them are listed below:

-A dance form known as glow sticking is extremely popular in present day. Glow sticks are used for entertainment in parties, concerts, and dance clubs. This is one of the most widely acknowledged uses of glow sticks in pop culture.

-In Hong Kong, one can see the use of glow sticks during the Mid Autumn Festival. In the US and other countries where Halloween is celebrated, you will find all the kids out on Trick or Treat using glow sticks. Here it has a dual purpose -- it warns oncoming vehicles that children are up and about, and parents use the light of the stick to keep sight of their children.

-Besides all this fun, glow sticks have an extremely practical use. They are waterproof and can withstand high pressure. In addition, they are disposable and inexpensive. That is why divers, campers and military use these sticks as a source of light and as markers.

-If there is an earthquake, these sticks come very handy and are a safe source of light. Even in places where there are explosives, the sticks can be used as they do not use batteries or electrical filaments and there is no worry about causing sparks.

These sticks were a rage in the 1980s. However, they are equally popular today among ordinary people. In order to get the best out of the stick, it is advisable to buy one that lasts. Cheap glow sticks fizzle out rather fast. Better quality stick will last for hours. A good quality glow stick will usually last for 12 to 24 hours.
